Lovely Little Things

{ A pretty, little pond, in a neighborhood garden. }

Hellooooo out there!  I feel as if I have been neglecting this space as of late, but the truth is 1.  I have been having a lot of fun with family and friends : ) and 2.  I have been in major ‘planning mode’ putting together some new ideas, and posts to come this Fall (How is it possible that I am even thinking about that right now!?!).  I in no way want to hurry this season along – especially since Friday marks the start of my “Birthday Month” (!!!), but man, time sure is flying by!  Here are a few things that have made me smile, in the meantime:

To see more, you can follow me on Instagram, here!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

{ From Left to Right }

  1. Sherwood Inn; Skaneateles, NY
  2. Checking out the antique boats and cars on display for a weekend show.
  3. Bubbly and laughs with my Mom ♥  (Because a few of you have already asked, my top is from Equipment ; ))
  4. New kicks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I also bought this jacket, these jeans, and this skirt – I am sorry wallet…but I am ready for you Fall!  (I also seem to be having an all-black everything moment!)
  5. A perfect, peachy, sunset on Oneida Lake.
  6. The cookbook I am absolutely loving lately!  So far I have made:

Watermelon Rosemary, Blueberry Mint, and Peach Ginger Lemonade

Rice Pilaf, Nectarine, White Cheddar, Mint Vinaigrette

Edamame, Snap Pea, Sesame Vinaigrette

Fennel, Farro Soup

~ All delicious!

        Yeah, it IS amazing what can be seen when we look! Sometimes I am “rushing, rushing, rushing” I don’t see! You have a good weekend, too!

    The photo of the pond is truly extraordinary!! I, too, have not been ‘tending to my blog’ very much…. ever since spring hit! I’ve got two great recipes for ‘dead easy’ no-cook pies, for which I have the ingredients…. therefore, I really should make & post those today! Have a wonderful Birthday Month!!

      Thank You, Cecile! The way I see it, this season is so short in the Northeast, that we owe it to ourselves to enjoy it! I would definitely like to see those pie recipes too, though : )
