Branding.  How important is it to you?

I have been known to purchase an item based on that (and packaging as a part of the whole), alone.  You could say that branding is important to me.

I am into it.  I think about it as it applies to my work, and of course, other brands.

It was what drew me to Billie.  I had seen a photo of one of their razors on Instagram, via Taylor Sterling, which then led me to their Instagram page.  I loved the vibrant colors and the “girl power” feel to their images.

And that packaging…

According to the Billie website:

“We have one mission: to provide you with quality shaving supplies and premium body care products.”

“We’re here to make a daily routine a little more delightful and a lot more affordable.”

Affordable as in, the company charges no pink tax, or the extra amount that women are commonly charged for certain products or services for “no good reason”.

For $9, one can order a Starter Kit, with a handle, a magnetic holder, and two premium razor blade cartridges; all wrapped up in the cutest bundle you ever did see.  Boxes, pouches and products in that signature palette.

And, the shipping is free.

The best part?  The razors are top-notch.  The shave is close, and the after-effect is silky smooth.

I have been using this razor for two months now and have no intention of ending my subscription.
