Thank you Victoria’s Secret for sponsoring this post. While this was a sponsored opportunity from Victoria’s Secret all content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Let’s talk about New Year’s Resolutions, shall we?  I am actually not very big on them, if only because I am the type of person who likes to continuously set goals for myself and assess and reassess where I am at.  I love making lists, putting together vision boards, and the idea of a clean slate (both literally and metaphorically); all of which are themes that apply to this time of year too.

As I mentioned in this post, I spent a good portion of the last couple of weeks purging and organizing.  One of the areas that I tackled was the dresser that houses my PJs and workout wear.  By the time I was done, I had thrown out two garbage bags full of ill-fitting, old – and kind of yuck – items.  It felt so good to do that – and provided the perfect opportunity to go on a little shopping spree.

Here is the deal:  I have curves and I am tall.  I love my body and am proud of it, but dressing it can be an entirely different story.  If you have ever had the distinct “pleasure” of stuffing yourself into two sport bras – because one is definitely not enough support – and feeling like “Okay, I am all in – but also kind of suffocating”, then you probably know where I am going with this.  Or maybe you have been really excited about a new pair of tights, only to try to get a little bendy in them and find out that they ride up, fall down, or are just too short/long to begin with.  For me, this is where Victoria’s Secret comes into play.

Obviously, VS is the best at bras.  As is the case for most of you I am sure, my first one was purchased there, and I have continued to shop there ever since.  The thing I love about their sport bras then, is that they fit and are sized (32-40, A-DDD), like a normal bra – which is a rare thing!  I only need to wear one (YES!) and there are a variety of colors and product ranges for me to choose from (also rare).  Right now, I am loving both the Angel and Incredible Front-Close styles.

Another thing that I think is great about the VS Sport line is that the products are all made from sturdy, high-quality materials.  The tights (The Knockout cut is my current favorite, and the one I am wearing here.) hold their shape, stay in place – whether you run, walk, or yoga! – never pill, and again, like the bras come in a full range of sizes, including Short and Long.  There are a number of other lines out there that I like aesthetically speaking, but I can’t say the same for how I feel about the way they wear (The pilling always gets me!).  Let’s just say those pieces are the ones that eventually get pushed to the back of my dresser drawer, whereas the VS pieces remain front and center!

If you are interested in doing some shopping of your own, I suggest visiting the VS homepage tomorrow (HINT!  HINT!) to find a pretty epic, unprecedented, offer.  You can also check back here next week for a follow-up post, when I inevitably remind you.  ; )  In addition to the offer, for purchases of $100 or more, you will receive free shipping with code FREESHIP100 through January 20th (So go crazy!).

Last but not least, in the event you are wondering what I am toting around in this water bottle (Or just why there are photos of drinks in this post!), I included a recipe for my Winter morning go-to juice.  Think: a grapefruit margarita – sans tequila.  Because above all else, when it comes to staying healthy and fit, I like to keep everything – sportswear and juice included – colorful and FUN!
