In the interest of full disclosure, I received a gifting request from the new-to-me brand, Sonsie Skin, a few weeks ago. I feel very fortunate to not only do work that I love – and can share with you – but that brands entrust me to try their products as well. I am SO grateful for all of the gifting I receive. That being said, certain brands stand out to me more than others. Sonsie is one of them.
From the brand philosophy:
“When you embrace your authentic self, you uncover the radiance that was always there. In a world saturated with excess and unattainable ideals, Sonsie offers a different path – one that champions simplicity, self-acceptance, and the power of authenticity. Beauty should feel natural and effortless”
I am in my 40s now and especially as I get older, I appreciate the message of self-acceptance in particular, even more. In keeping with their ethos, the brand was co-founded by model/influencer Marie von Behrens-Felipe and Pamela Anderson. I am love the more grounded, natural version of Pamela we have seen in recent years, and am especially taken by her Vancouver Island Garden; a woman after my own heart!
As for products, I have tried the Super Serum, and the Multi Moisture Cream, both depicted here. The serum delivers the perfect [for warmer weather], lightweight glow, while the cream has helped to combat the dry skin I experience as we transition from winter to spring. The Basic Balm In Sugar-Dipped Rhubarb (Does this not sound delicious?), is the next product I want to try. If you would like to experience Sonsie yourself, or learn more about the brand, you can do so here. I do hope you will!

I had to include a couple of shots of these Roselilies here, as I cannot wait to be back in my garden, but am thrilled that I can find flowers that look like this at the grocery store, in the meantime! They are the most stunning peachy-pink hue!
